Together they create a living collective memory of the region, full of stories by and for the Limburg community. The museum asked to expand the website with a digital platform that showcases these "Stories of Limburgs," making the museum’s activities more engaging, accessible, and connected to the community.

A museum that strives to be relevant knows that a museum isn’t just a building. It should be part of the world around the people it’s trying to reach. Yes, there should be an appealing collection, but it should also be present in everyday lives. Connecting past, present and future. In that way you reach a wider, younger audience.

Stories can be about any topic: a large theme, a specific exhibition or an significant object anywhere in Limburg. As long as it affects Limburg, it is relevant and there’s a connection to the museum.

— Engage and participate

Visitors are encouraged to engage with quizzes and polls. By liking, saving and sharing. Even entire new stories can be added by visitors. The audience is a vital part of the storytelling process. The museum does not only show Limburg’s culture, it also discovers it and incorporates it.
