The team at VodafoneZiggo wanted an award winning career site. Of course, this was briefed to set their ambition. Well, the team at Radancy delivered on that wish, twice. With employers going to great lengths to find talented (young) professionals, it’s not a good idea to stick to patterns from the past. New workers rather see, feel and experience. Not struggle through the usual obligatory corporate copy and bullet lists of demands and benfits. They live on their phones and certainly don’t want to fill in seemingly endless forms. Also, in a time when demand is bigger than supply you should minimise barriers to a minimum. Better connect as fast as possible.

In a saturated job market you need to outperform the competition to attract the best talent. Higher wages aren’t enough. A great culture, the confidence that your work matters, the assurance that you are accepted for who you are and a healthy work-life balance are equally as important. An employer needs to have that covered. And you need to prove it by showing that with appealing and convincing content.

Meet your actual future team members. Feel the actual vibe of where you will work. Show me an actual project I could work on. Quotes and interviews from staff can be awkward and lack credibility, but when done right they can be very valuable.

VodafoneZiggo is a big corporate that feels like a startup. Ambitious, agile and playful. We captured that in a design that echoes that vibe with rich content, a playful lay-out, a wide range of components and a structure that’s intentionally kept very simple.
